Ask and ye shall receive

Yesterday: some work on the lecture material, a walking tour of our Jerusalem neighborhood, a staff meeting, and a late-night viewing of “Promises,” a documentary about the conflict both interesting and very relevant to our program. Today: all-day staff session on coexistence, with facilitators from the Adam Institute, and discussions about curricular and logistical details. Tomorrow: first round of lecture preparation. Arrival

An uneventful and early arrival at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv; a drive up (elevation up) to Jerusalem; lunch, post-metal-detection, at a cafe near the apartment; a short drive out to a promenade overlooking the city; coffee, post-bag-search, on a hillside facing the Old City walls.
