fiwt 0.3

After a few hours of hacking I bring you fiwt version 0.3, my latest Safari find-as-you-type attempt. Little fiwt is now a SIMBL plugin, which improves its behind-the-scenes behavior and makes upgrading (or uninstalling) a much easier process. The included Readme file has further details.

Hey Max,
Now that I’m using my PowerBook, fiwt is definitely a nice addition. I have a feature request - I’d like to be able to search just links by hitting / before the search text. I have no idea how much work this involves, but it would be a nice feature to have.
Hope everything’s going well!

Hi!
Really cool and useful (on my powerbook too!, maybe even especially!)
Unfortunately i cannot hit backslash. (alt+shift+7) which is on a German-Swiss Keyboard.
Any idea why?
Thanks,
Chris

I’ve always wanted this feature in Safari, and now I have it. Thanks so much!
I agree with Mike Z. that / to search for just links would be great as well.
