  • Congratulations - that’s so cool I bothered looking up how to spell congratulations rather than just saying congrats!

  • Can you post the paper so I can look at it for 20 seconds before deciding I do not understand it - or is it not open to the public at this point?

  • Excellent (on both counts) - congratulations, Max! I guess I’ll see you on campus (on the rare occasions I actually venture there :). Now Dave just needs to stop being stupid and move back from CA…

  • Hmmm - I’m the stupid one - let’s try a little experiment - try eating lunch outside tomorrow in a t-shirt and let me know how comfortable you feel and then we’ll talk about where everyone should be living…

You know Northern California has Stanford, every tech company you could hope for, and people up there have finances to be planned… I’m sure there are even some people who have not figured out that the key to avoiding buffer overflows is to use Java.

  • Actually, I was quite comfortable being outside in a T-shirt today :). Given the current rate of temperature increases, Boston will be as warm as San Jose in a couple years, and with cheaper real estate.

  • Max,

    Congratulations! Felicitations!

At least one person is moving back! We can’t wait to see you and get together lots and just talk about Dave…

Can’t wait to see you. Let us know when you are going to be back in town.

  • Hey, thanks.

You’ll see the paper when the final version is accepted.

And that Java comment was harsh, Dave. Harsh.
