We are pleased to inform you that your submission to FOAL ‘06 has been accepted […]. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the annual Conference on Aspect-Oriented Software Development (AOSD 06), to take place in March 2006, in Bonn, Germany. The workshop will be held on March 21.

If you have not already heard from them, you will shortly receive a letter from the EECS department at MIT, informing you that you have been admitted to the graduate program in Computer Science at MIT next fall.
That pretty much sums things up.

Hmmm - I’m the stupid one - let’s try a little experiment - try eating lunch outside tomorrow in a t-shirt and let me know how comfortable you feel and then we’ll talk about where everyone should be living…
You know Northern California has Stanford, every tech company you could hope for, and people up there have finances to be planned… I’m sure there are even some people who have not figured out that the key to avoiding buffer overflows is to use Java.

Actually, I was quite comfortable being outside in a T-shirt today :). Given the current rate of temperature increases, Boston will be as warm as San Jose in a couple years, and with cheaper real estate.
